Free Bird Airlines is an airline company based in Istanbul. The airline operates charter flights all over Europe. Freebird is an international charter airline company that was established in June 2000 and started operations in 2001 with 3 MD-83 type aircraft. Standing out among the Turkish private sector airline carriers with its rapid rise on a solid infrastructure, Freebird continues its operations in Europe and the Middle East with 6 A320 and 4 A321 aircraft in its fleet. In addition, Freebird has been authorized by the Turkish Civil Aviation General Directorate in 3 different fields of activity: Passenger / Cargo Transportation, Maintenance Organization and Training Organization. Freebird is a company of Gözen Holding, which provides ground handling services to more than 85 companies in the field of representation, supervision, fuel, inspection, brokerage and security in the aviation industry. In 2002, it became the first airline company in Turkey to receive the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate by TÜV Rheinland, and the first private airline company to receive the IOSA registration by IATA in 2006. As of 2022, FreeBird Airlines has 10 aircraft in its fleet.
